We would like to wish you warm welcome to the XXI International Congress of Clinical Cardiology and Heart Failure, CardioS 2023 which will take place in Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belgrade, Serbia on March 17-18th, 2023. The high position of CardioS 2023 in the Eastern Europe is again confirmed by its traditional joint organizers Heart Failure Society of Serbia, Belgrade University School of Medicine, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and Heart Failure Association of European Society of Cardiology.
Recent years were witnessing a major breakthrough in the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, which resulted in revolutionary improvement of the heart failure hospitalization and mortality. Heart Failure Society of Serbia is an active player in the field, fostering the implementation of the new heart failure drugs and strategies among the Serbian physicians and cardiologists. This is demonstrated by the production of the three popular , easy-to-understand, short illustrative booklets dedicated to the most important topics in heart failure: Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, Acute heart failure and Cardio-oncology, which will be handed to the all participants.
As usual, Cardios 2023 will be an extraordinary and dynamic scientific event, which will underline the most important progresses in cardiology in the year 2022. The interactive, innovative and clinically- oriented profile of the meeting will allow to all participants to dive deep into the latest discoveries of European and global cardiology.
The Program of CardioS 2023 will have 16 scientific session in three rooms with 11 Industry Symposia. The participation is confirmed by 45 local and 14 invited speakers from 11 European countries. Dinamicity, ineractivity, internationality and prominent educational aspects are the main feature of CardioS 2023. Multimedial education, which can be applied instantly in the clinical practice, will be presented and discussed by the top experts from Serbia and abroad.
The highlight of the Congress is the keynote lecture of Professor Filippo Crea, Editor-in-Chief of European Heart Journal, who will receive this year the Gold Medal of the Heart Failure Society of Serbia. Furthermore, the Director of CardioS 2023, Academician Petar M. Seferović received the prestigious Saint Sava Award , from the Ministry of Education of Republic of Serbia, which is a great honour for all Serbian cardiologists.
The Serbian Medical Chamber accredited CardioS 2023 with 15 CME points for lecturers and 10 CME points for participants.
We are convinced that CardioS 2023 will continue its tradition as a most prominent cardiology meeting in Serbia, because it features the blend of interactive education, up-to-date in treatment strategies and exchange in experience, which is always the key of success.
